[00:00.20]If my Fish Could Talk|[00:03.29] I have a goldfish.|[00:04.97] He swims around in his bowl all day.|[00:07.77] He looks bored.|[00:09.33] I look inside the bowl and watch him.|[00:11.38] His mouth always moves.|[00:13.37] He looks like he is talking.|[00:14.93] I imagine what my goldfish would say|[00:18.59] if he really could talk.|[00:20.46] I think he would say:|[00:21.46] "Hey, I'm bored in this little bowl.|[00:24.01] Why don't you get me a bigger tank with more fish in it?|[00:27.43] I would like to have some friends to swim around with."|[00:30.48] I went out and bought a bigger tank for my goldfish.|[00:34.65] I put some plants at the bottom of the tank,|[00:36.95] and I got a miniature deep-sea diver|[00:38.75] to put at the bottom of the tank.|[00:41.18] I looked into the tank and imagined|[00:43.17] what my goldfish was saying.|[00:45.22] He seemed to be saying:|[00:46.59] "This is a nice tank.|[00:48.64] It's roomy in here, and you decorated it well,|[00:51.63] but I still don't have any friends to swim with."|[00:54.68] I went to the pet store and bought three more goldfish.|[00:58.59] I put them into the tank.|[01:00.15] All of the goldfish seemed to look at each other.|[01:03.13] They swam near each other|[01:04.44] and seemed to be playing games.|[01:06.49] I knew which one was my goldfish|[01:08.23] because he has a black spot on his fin.|[01:11.59] I looked at him, and imagined that he was talking again.|[01:15.26] He said:|[01:16.19] "This is great!|[01:17.93] I have a big new home and friends to swim with.|[01:20.67] These are nice goldfish|[01:22.04] that you brought home for me; thank you."|[01:24.15] Goldfish can't really talk.|[01:27.02] I know that.|[01:28.26] I just like to pretend that my goldfish talks.|[01:30.69] He seems very happy now with his nice new home,|[01:33.17] and his new friends.|[01:34.55] I don't think goldfish can smile either,|[01:36.79] but it looks like my goldfish has a smile on his face.
