[00:00.20]Creative People|[00:02.40] Some people are just born to create.|[00:05.39] That's what I think.|[00:06.64] Some people just have the need to write stories,|[00:10.43] compose beautiful music, or paint pictures.|[00:13.91] Creativity seems to be inside them,|[00:16.40] and they need to let it out.|[00:19.02] It's good that we have people like that.|[00:21.69] Composers like Mozart and Chopin|[00:24.43] have given us music that is incredibly beautiful.|[00:27.66] It's not just the classical composers|[00:30.09] who have given us great pieces of music;|[00:32.20] there are modern composers|[00:33.82] who have written great songs also.|[00:36.31] Elton John is an example of someone|[00:38.42] who has composed many wonderful songs.|[00:42.09] Andrew Lloyd Webber has given us|[00:44.96] some very popular musicals like Cats|[00:47.32] and The Phantom of the Opera.|[00:49.93] There are so many talented|[00:52.05] and creative people in this world.|[00:54.54] When you visit an art gallery,|[00:56.59] you marvel at how artists are able to recreate realism|[01:00.38] or make up something|[01:02.44] that seems totally unreal yet beautiful.|[01:05.36] The American artist Norman Rockwell|[01:08.22] painted some pictures|[01:09.78] that actually looked like photographs.|[01:12.39] He tried to portray life as it was in America.|[01:16.49] Through his paintings, one can get a good sense|[01:19.54] of American life through the years.|[01:22.41] On the other hand, artists like Jackson Pollock|[01:25.39] did not portray realism.|[01:27.19] Jackson Pollock painted abstract pictures.|[01:30.18] His paintings are just as good as Norman Rockwell's,|[01:33.48] but they are entirely different.|[01:36.46] Some books that we read are classics.|[01:39.82] Mark Twain portrayed American life|[01:41.87] through his characters Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.|[01:45.54] Charles Dickens brought Victorian England|[01:47.97] to life through his books.|[01:50.15] Most people are familiar with his Christmas Carol|[01:53.20] where the mean and miserable|[01:55.00] Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas.|[01:58.24] People don't have to read the classics.|[02:00.91] There are modern writers|[02:02.78] who entertain readers through their stories.|[02:04.83] Stephen King has written a number of horror stories.|[02:08.31] Some of his books have even been made into movies.|[02:11.92] We are lucky to have creative people|[02:14.72] who share their gifts with us.|[02:16.96] If you are lucky enough to be creative,|[02:19.88] you should use your talents to create works of art|[02:22.87] that we all can share.
